"Please Please Me"....Stereo...
Other Beatles stuff still listed"..."Anthology 2",some other NM 2 box early 70's Re-issues and some DeAgostini issues (Still sealed in original packaging!) SO...Keep having a look!...
This 2 box re issue is getting hard to find nearly 55 years after it's release...It is impossible to find in this condition!...
Issued by Parlophone in 1971...UK stereo pressing...PCS 3042 housed in a front laminated Garrod And Lofthouse sleeve with full flipbacks (No "Stereo" front top right)...The top and bottom of the spine are crimped...Complete with sepia advertising inner sleeve...
The labels have "Gramophone" rim text with "Made in Gt.Britain" underneath the lower EMI box...The back ground colour to the EMI boxes is cream...The Mothers and stampers are 2 PL and 2 PO...
To the naked eye the record looks GREAT...There are a couple of tiny hairlines and a VERY light scuff on the B side but there are no significant marks or damage to the playing surfaces which still retain a great sheen....
I have played a few tracks on this:.."Chains","Boys" and "Ask Me Why" on the A side and "Baby It's You" on the B side which have very slight hairlines...All these tracks play perfectly (A great sound quality as well!...NO crackle..Even the track links played silently!)...It's not dished and has no edge warps...
The labels are undamaged with untarnished and clearly legible text...The centre holes show maybe ONE spindle trail....
The sleeve is in GREAT condition and has only a few minor defects as follows:...A few light "Stress" marks to the laminate around the edges...A bump to the bottom of the opening edge...A TINY area of laminate lift at the base of the spine...Very slight grubbiness to the flipback edges...It has NO Major defects or damage....The spine is square and unbroken with clearly legible text and there is minimal ageing to the non laminated back.
The sepia inner sleeve has a little ringwear and slight ageing...It remains unsplit....
