CONDITION OF VINYL (visual grading & play-grading):

SIDE ONE: VERY GOOD (Plays Very Good - Excellent)

SIDE TWO: VERY GOOD (Plays Very Good - Excellent)

Both sides of this super-rare withdrawn mispressing are in very good condition.  The vinyl retains some of its original gloss and appears virtually unworn.  There are several light surface and hairline marks and some very light scratches which do not affect playback.  The record plays very well throughout with excellent sound quality.  The withdrawn mix of 'Tomorrow Never Knows' plays extremely well with virtually no distortion.  There is some very light crackle in the run-in grooves and some track separations, there are some occasional light clicks, but nothing to spoil the listening experience.  Both Parlophone labels are in great condition with no writing and only a very light amount of wear around the spindle holes (see pictures).  There are some light spindle marks on both labels.

CONDITION OF SLEEVE: VERY GOOD+ (close to EX)

The cover just falls short of an excellent grading due to some very light creases and the tiniest amount of ringwear visible on the back cover.  The cover is printed by Garrod & Lofthouse and is front laminated with three flipbacks (although the picture only shows two flipbacks top and bottom, my A3 scanner automatically cropped the side flipback, however, I can assure you that it is just as good as the two visible in the picture).  The spine is fully intact and readable although there are a couple of extremely minor creases.

COMMENTS:

This ultra-rare Beatles LP is essential for any Beatles fan or collector.  This 606-1 matrix was withdrawn on the 1st day of issue as the wrong mix of 'Tomorrow Never Knows' was pressed on the album, making copies of this LP extremely hard to find.  Although this copy is not perfect, it is still a very strong, excellent sounding VG+ copy which should please most collectors and is more than ideal as a collection filler until a better copy comes along (if you're lucky enough to find one).  UK & International postage & packaging is free!  Good luck bidding!

REST OF THE WORLD:

INSURED AIRMAIL: FREE!

I refuse to send International items via surface mail since it is a slower service with greater risk of loss and of damage. I would recommend that overseas buyers opt for insured services as I will not be held responsible for any loss or damage during transportation if postal insurance has not been selected. Please note that I will provide proof of postage upon request.

PACKAGING INFORMATION:

This record will be sent to you in a high quality cardboard record mailing box and it will be protected by FOUR strong cardboard stiffeners in order to prevent unwanted bending during transportation. The record will be placed in a PVC outer sleeve and “sandwiched” between the cardboard stiffeners.  The vinyl will be placed in a brand new polylined inner to protect the original and will be placed next to the cover to prevent splitting.  The box will be sealed with strong brown tape.

Please bid with confidence. I will always aim for the record to reach you in the same condition in which it leaves me, especially since having had disappointing experiences receiving badly packaged records.

PAYMENT INFORMATION:

Paypal is the preferred method of payment because the transaction is safer and quicker. I will accept cheques from the UK only, I do not accept cheques from overseas. Cheques must be in Pounds Sterling. I will only send the item when the cheque has cleared.
