Description
This album was released on the Parlophone label (PCS3075) in 1965. It is the first stereo pressing on heavy quality vinyl with Matrix Numbers YEX178-2 and YEX179-2. I bought the album shortly after its release and have looked after it well. It has always been stored vertically alongside other albums in a record cabinet.
The condition of the vinyl is excellent and it plays very well with superb sound and with no skipping or jumping. There seems to be hardly any surface noise or sound deterioration after all these years.
The front cover is laminated and in excellent condition. There are no creases at all in the lamination apart from a few, barely visible, along the edge adjacent to the spine. They are around 1.5 cm long and are simply where the cardboard has flexed very slightly. There is no wear at the opening edge. The back cover, which is not laminated, is likewise in excellent condition and is virtually unmarked. The writing on the spine is clearly legible and the lamination along it is unbroken apart from one hair line 'crack'. The covers are printed on heavy weight card by Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd.
The album comes with its original inner sleeve. It is in good condition with no folds, splits or tears.
