Yellow and Black Parlophone Labels
Master Matrices XEX 579-1/XEX 580-1
This is the first and original uncut mix of Rubber Soul with the first master matrices on both sides. It was a short lived pressing and was discontinued shortly after Xmas1965. It has the print 1st record labels and original sleeve and is how Rubber Soul appeared when it first hit the stores.
This Loud Cut has the FIRST and original block capital text, which was quickly changed to Times New Roman.
The Sleeve: 1st & original Flipback sleeve in Very Good Plus Condition.
Has maintained an overall firm shape, sharp edges with no fraying and spine corners are sharp, the bottoms right corner on opening side has a small scuff. Fully laminated with no creasing on the front, which is very rare to find in such good condition. All flipbacks fully intact, all lamination present, and there are no splits or rips. Spine fully intact and title text clear and bold. The iconic front photo is superb, this is the darker image (later prints had a light green hue, and a lighter red 'Rubber Soul'). This is the original photograph with the tear on John Lennon's right shoulder not yet air-brushed out! Still glossy and the back of the sleeve is clean, very light age discoloration on the opening side. Superb sleeve for over 50 years old.
No sticker or sticker residue, and no writing or writing imprints.

Inner Sleeve : This is the original and correct EMI Emitex 'Made In England' tracing paper lined inner sleeve. It is in an Excellent condition and fully functional with no splits and is intact inside and out at all seams.
The Vinyl: In Very Good Plus condition. The vinyl retains a deep bright black glossy finish. Under direct light, there are visibly non-feelable superficial stylus hairlines on both sides over the surfaces, but they are very fine and very light, showing that this surface has received a fair number of plays, but has not been over used. The surface is completely smooth and in normal light the vinyl surfaces still look fresh and project a mirror-like shine and could qualify as Excellent. There are no feelable marks or scratches on either side. The vinyl is clean, the record lays completely flat on the turntable, has no scuffs, no dinks in the vinyl, and no warps or groove wear.
Very heavy robust sixties vinyl weighing at 175 grams.
Labels are Very Good Plus. Text is clear and bright, the perimeter area around the spindle location point has fine spindle wear and spindle line traces can been seen but not particularly deep.
Has the KT tax code embossed on Side 1.

The text for the song titles is the Block capital Sans Serif font. The loud cut was only pressed for a few weeks, but during this time the font was changed from block capital to Times New Roman font which can be found on later Loud Cuts and the early second presses.

The Audio: The audio grades as Excellent, it has no detractions such as pops, skips, jumps or sticks, and no interference which is obvious from the condition of the surfaces, and has been play tested to confirm. The surfaces project a full original edgy bass reproduction, and the vocals are crisp and original. There is no background noise, and the run-in's preceding and succeeding the songs are quiet with just a few light static type ticks on a few of them, but this is a criticism that is hard to make.
The robustness of these early pressings always ensures that the sound quality doesn't deteriorate noticeably as long as the record has not been mistreated.
The mono bass line is noticeably different to later pressings.

This LP will be securely delivered in a professional cardboard LP mailer with cardboard stifferners.
A plain anti-static inner sleeve will house the record and the original will be placed separately.
A high grade PVC sleeve is included to further protect the LP as shown.
