Description
As follows:
Parlophone PMC 1267.
The Beatles - Rubber Soul
Original UK Parlophone Yellow and Black Mono Press, 1965.
Matrix Numbers:
XEX 579-1. XEX 580-1.
This LP features the sought after and relatively scarce 'Loud Cut' mix; the first Mono pressing, which was replaced after a short pressing run, with a different mix, with -4 Matrix Number endings.
My favourite Beatles LP; all songs are superbly written, some sublime melodies; masterfully produced by George Martin.
There are a few visible light scuffs to the vinyl surfaces, but it plays superbly.
Condition Vinyl: EX/VG+
Fully Play Tested.
Side One there were a few very light audible ticks and some crackle between a few tracks, and some light crackle through second half of 'Michelle'. Graded EX.
Side Two features a series of pops at end of 'What Goes On' to the beginning of 'Girl' (where there is a scuff mark on the LP). Some crackle at beginning of 'In My Life', and some occasional crackle for the rest of the side. Graded VG+.
Condition Sleeve: VG
Some corner bangs, and mild edge wear, minor discolouring, legible spine. Please see photos of sleeve, and close ups of highlighted areas.
The LP is housed in the original tracing paper lined Emitex Inner.
