Description
• Disc condition: VG+ Vinyl nice and flat. Moderate spindle wear. Crisp labels. Visually looks VG+(+), but plays as excellent. Minimal crackle super audio. And so the disc is VG++/EX over all.
• Sleeve condition: VG+ 12 LL Garrod & Lofthouse printed sleeve. Laminated from sleeve. Light creasing to front top part of sleeve, and back is very clean and the exposed matt cardboard is extremely nice for its age. Spine lettering and spine is sharp and legible. Sleeve is more as near excellent.
• Matrix/Mothers: XEX 579-1 4 L0 XEX 580-1 2 GDH (H stamped again underneath but crossed through).
• First UK pressing from 1965 with K/T tax code on side 1 label, "Sold in UK" credit, and Gramophone Co Ltd credit on label rims. Comes complete with original VG+ tracing paper EMITEX inner. Regarded as the "loud cut". This is denoted by the -1/-1 matrix. It was quickly withdrawn and a second cut with -2 matrix replaced this pressing. Rare in this condition! Don't miss it!
