Description
THE BEATLES Revolver album. This is the RARE 2nd PRESSING WITH THE SMALL BLACK MONO COVER ALBUM. Released on the YELLOW/BLACK PARLOPHONE label, catalogue number PMC 7009 run off groove numbers are XEX 605-2 and XEX 606-1, and stampers read G MP and 2 RP, released in 1966. The label has "THE GRAMOPHONE CO" and "SOLD IN UK” label text.
The "Garrod & Lofthouse" record sleeve is in NEAR EXCELLENT condition. Sleeve has no rips no tears no seem splits, and no deep sleeve creases, all the spine print is clear and legible, and there is no missing sleeve laminate.
Sleeve has the original back cover flip over edges (there is a small name indent impression on the top left hand corner). Back cover is EXCELLENT with minimal wear, there are two small tiny surface only sleeve creases on the top left hand corner flip over edge which follow on to the back sleeve (looks like two very small surface cracks) these have gone all the way through the sleeve, but have only left a faint impression on the corresponding front cover, resulting in the sleeve’s corner slightly bent out of line, however there is no major damage to the front.
Small light corner rub only to the bottom left hand side and just a few medium sized surface only laminate creases, on the front cover right hand side. There is some very faint top of sleeve only, record sleeve ring wear (very slight dulling) the front still retains a super full glossy front cover. Overall still clean solid and complete with no major damage!
Record comes with the original plain white sleeve “patents applied for”, again in EXCELLENT condition, some slight small light creases no rips no tears and no splits.
Record labels are EXCELLENT with no label damage, Spindle hole marks show moderate to light playing. Record playing surfaces still retain there brilliant original sheen, and grade visually as EXCELLENT.
Record playing surfaces have some surface scuffs marks, most are small/medium ultra feather light fine line/hairline surface scuff types, difficult to see unless you look at the record under a strong light. Surface marks are not excessive, are light scattered and there is nothing heavy and absolutely nothing that you can feel.
Record has been play graded to check the sound quality, record plays mostly EXCELLENT/VERY GOOD+, there are some places where you can hear some faint light low level background crackles/clicks, however these are not consistent through the whole record and are only intermittent. Record sound displays no bad crackles, no bad clicks, and no jumps.
Record is fully guaranteed, and I offer a no quibble money back guarantee if not as described. Record sent out with PVC sleeve in thick protective cardboard packaging.
