A black and white back cover of the Beatles Second Album attached with cream flaps which have printed instructions at the top right to ‘File Under Pop Rock Vocal Group’ to brown card record sleeve.(see scans) Maybe an institutional copy (radio station/library?) Anyway-all very professionally done and in fine shape. It’s in its original Capitol paper inner sleeve. Condition wise- the rainbow labels are EX+. The vinyl is EX with only a few light micro-lines. It plays without fault. The cover is VG+ as there is a split along about six inches of the spine (see scan). There is a ‘C’ stamped in a ring on the black and white cover top right. I’ve occasionally seen other “File Copies” of Beatles records but never one where it’s been so professionally done.
CONDITION WISE:
MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras in perfect condition.
MINT MINUS (NM) : Few signs of being played, no deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras in superb condition.
EXCELLENT: Some signs of having been played, eg. superficial minor marks such as feathers. Possible minor deterioration of sound quality. Cover, label, extras are in fine condition.
VERY GOOD: Played quite a few times. Perhaps feel-able marks. Some deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras show moderate amount of wear and tear.
VERY GOOD - (Minus) : Further deterioration in sound quality. Considerable wear and tear to cover and it's contents but record should play without skipping, repeats etc.
GOOD: Just playable. Considerable sound problems. Heavy scratches. Needle may jump. Cover has serious problems eg defaced, staining,missing pieces etc.
