Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Sgt Pepper' 1967 yellow Parlophone vinyl LP in overall VERY GOOD+ condition.

This particular pressing features the VERY RARE alternative font that was used on some stereo copies of Sgt Pepper back in the sixties! If you look at the Side 1 label font and compare it to the actual songs on the Side 2 label you can see that the Side 2 font is wider and more rounded. Not very common and was probably introduced in early 1968 so quite rare! HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE! DO NOT MISS OUT!!

Condition:
Vinyl (visual): Side 1 - there are a few light hairlines but nothing that I can feel! Lovely gloss and shine and looks great. Rates as VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT-. Label is EXCELLENT-.                       Side 2 - same as Side 1!
Audio: I have play-tested the first track on Side 1 and the first track on Side 2 ONLY!!! They both rate as EXCELLENT! Very light background crackle on the run-in with some random light pops. Nothing serious! Light background crackle can be heard but it just needs a deep clean. The audio itself is very punchy, crisp and has an amazing warm tone! Lots of clarity is present, the stereo mix sounds great and it's difficult to fault! These two tracks played very well and so far it plays a lot better than it looks! No skips on these two tracks! 


Insert: The original green cut-out card insert is in EXCELLENT condition! Free from damage, writing, rips or tears! 
Inner Sleeve: The original EMI advertising inner sleeve is currently in VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ condition! It is free from splits, tears and rips! It does have some discolouration and also a small signature written on pen on the reverse.

Sleeve: The original 1967 stereo flipback gatefold sleeve is in VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT- condition! The front of the sleeve has a lovely gloss and shine with very light ringwear and some laminate creasing towards the edges - nothing serious, still looks great! The inner gatefold VERY clean and free from writing or graffiti! The rear of the sleeve does have some slight indentations where writing used to be - please see pictures!! This can only be seen when held up to the light but it is there. It's nice and clean with some light lamination creasing here and there. The spine is readable but does have some creases through the "e" of "Lonely". This isn't major however! Nice and clean wiht light creasing and marks towards the edges. A great sleeve!!
