Description
This LP vinyl is from my private collection, which I am now selling off, all of which I bought new back in the 60's, and onwards, and have not been played for at least 30 years, until now.
I have graded this record using the Goldmine Standard grading system. Although it has been visually graded under LED lighting, I have also playgraded it. I consider that I have been very honest with my assessment, and have not over-graded it. Photos can never do justice to the condition of a record, so I've tried to describe the vinyl's condition as accurately and fairly as possible.

It was officially released on May 26th 1967, and spent 27 weeks at No.1 in the UK album charts. This version is a rare ORIGINAL 1st UK MONO Pressing, released on the black and yellow Parlophone label, with silver text. This version has what is known as a “Wide Spine” gatefold gloss laminated sleeve, with a flipback onto the inner spread top edge.

The Vinyl
I am grading this as VG+.
There are some light scuffs and hairline, non-audible scratches. It has some static crackle, clicks and pops, more noticeable on lead-in and between tracks, and during quieter sections. However, this doesn't detract from the overall great sound considering the age of this LP. Although visually clean, it would probably benefit from a professional deep clean. There are no skips, jumps, or sticking.
The labels are in excellent condition, with only a little spindle scuffing. No spindle hole wear. No writing or stickers.
I am grading this as VG+.
I think this sleeve is in amazing condition, considering its age. The front cover still holds a good high gloss to the laminate. There are only a few small handling kinks and creases on some edges, and just a few indented lines. There is very little corner wear, just a small creased bottom r/h corner. Only minimal bruising on the open edges of the gatefold.
The inner spread of the gatefold only has 3 small handling kinks, and just a very little scuffing in a few places to the gloss surface. Super condition.
The back cover has only a few small creases, and a little matting-off of the gloss surface where the pressure of the edge of the record is.
The “wide spine” is visually very clean, with clear lettering.
There is no splits anywhere, no writing, and no stickers.
The inner sleeve is showing its age with yellowing and creases.
There are no inserts.
