Description
Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Sgt Pepper 12" 1967 COMPLETE FIRST PRESS mono original Parlophone pressing LP vinyl' in overall VERY GOOD condition.
This is a complete copy with the fool inner sleeve and unused cutout card!
VINYL:-
Visual:
- Side 1 - lots of hairlines and light, non-feelable scratches. Rated as VERY GOOD. Label is VERY GOOD.
- Side 2 - same as Side 1! Hairlines, nothing too major but it is a well played copy.
Audio:
- Audio currently rated as VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+! I have play tested it all the way through and can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO JUMPS and NO STICKS on my system! There is some background crackle throughout but it isn't overbearing and never really gets in the way of that great mono sound! It is a bit more noticeable on 'She's Leaving Home'. A deep clean could improve the sound quality. The bass is very punchy and the audio is nice and crisp! A very enjoyable listen indeed! Lies very flat and plays very well!
Original unused cutout card is in VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ condition with some corner rubbing and some creases (please see pictures).
The original flame fool inner sleeve is in GOOD- condition. Lots of splits and wear (please see pictures). I will include a plain white poly lined inner sleeve, free of charge.
The original 1967 mono gatefold sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition! There are some laminate creases on the front of the sleeve with general storage wear - nothing too major! The rear of the sleeve has light ringwear, laminate creases and general light wear. There is also a small 'dent' on the bottom edge of the rear of the sleeve (please see pictures). The inner gatefold has some light wear but there are no major issues! The spine is still readable (please see pictures). Lots of creases to the spine but not splits! No writing, graffiti or anything like that!
Overall, a very nice sounding original mono Sgt Pepper with an intact sleeve, cutout card and a used Fool inner!

As with all the vintage records I sell, I advise a deep clean to enhance the sound quality of the record. Overall, a classic Beatles record that sounds great!
