Description
This is The Beatles "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" 1st pressing of 1967 mono recording on Parlophone PMC7027. The vinyl is Very Good - there are age related light surface scuffs and slight hissing can be heard between tracks but I have played it right through and there is no damage or skips whatsover - it sounds great!! The centre label has a faint K and T embossed on each side of the spindle hole which I believe was a tax code.
The album gatefold sleeve is Very Good, still crackles when you open it as it should, still shiny and fully intact with just faint biro imprints on three titles, one of which I've photographed in close up. The spine is flattened causing the right insert edge to be slightly frayed - I believe the spine width was reduced for later pressings because of this problem - there are very few around with this original wide spine.
The original red/white inner sleeve is Excellent as it the cardboard cut out sheet.
This is a bit of rock music's history for sale.
All records I list are from either my own or friends' collections and will have been played through I pack the vinyl and sleeve separately, both in a plastic sleeve, then a stiffener in a record mailer and send 1st Class Royal Mail on Mondays and Thursdays - I will always combine postage, just ask. Sorry, I no longer accept returns since I had a mint album returned very damaged.
