This edition of the MONO Vinyl is in VG + to EX condition. It maintains its rich, warm and vibrant sound that comes from a heavy vinyl.  It has kept is gloss and shine throughout the years.

Both sides have some light hairlines and markings that are inaudible and do not affect sound. You will hear some background crackles but no pops or skips. Static can be heard between silent grooves between songs.

This 44-year-old record appears and sounds like one that has had limited play!

Labels are in EX condition and with very little spindle marks. They contain "The Gramophone Co. Ltd...." rim text and "Sold in U.K...." text on both sides.

As can be seen in the photograph; side one has the K T tax code stamped on both sides of the hole and the rare "Sold in the .U.K." 3 period typographical error.

The Garrod & Lofthouse laminated Cover is in VG + condition. It is fully laminated inside and out, the edges are straight, the spine is fully legible as may be seen in the photographs.

There are a few light creases to the back and one front bottom corner crease as well as some light wear on the opening. There is no writing or makings whatsoever. This is clearly an above average sleeve!

The Cut-Out insert is in Mint Condition with the Peter Blake credit.

The original red and white Inner Sleeve is also included and is in VG + condition. It has a small side seam split, otherwise in great condition.

This is the original and hard to find inner sleeve with the “Patents applied for” inscription at the right hand bottom side.

I base my grading on the "RECORD COLLECTOR'S" grading system. The following text is from the "RECORD COLLECTOR" price guide:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.

The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,

despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.

Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, with out any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.

The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
