THE BEATLES - SOMETHING NEW (Very rare 1964 German stereo pressing - Odeon SMO 83756)
This is the rare second pressing on the white/gold/red Odeon label, which was released at the end of 1964 shortly after the initial pressing with the STO catalogue number.

There are a lot of superficial marks and hairlines and a couple of deeper marks on the record, but it plays through fine without any skips or jumps and sounds very good to my ears. There are a few pops, mainly towards the end of "Tell My Why" and the beginning of "And I Love Her". You will notice some surface noise during playback. The record is VERY slightly warped, but this doesn't affect playback at all. The labels are very clean and in excellent condition. It is a respectable copy of this rare record, but if you are looking for records in the EX/NM range, this one is probably not for you.

There is some handling wear around the edges and some creasing to the laminated front cover and some minor damage to the spine, but no splits or writings. Someone obviously wrote a couple of song titles by German singer Udo Jürgens on a piece of paper while the cover was lying underneath. So you can see the imprint that the ballpoint pen left on the cover (See scan!). The overall impression of the cover is very good though and the flaws I mentioned are not too serious.
