THE BEATLES Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band New & Sealed Vinyl Record in UHQR Box Packaging

Extremely rare 1982 US 13-track limited edition UHQR Audiophile 12" box set containing a Japanese pressed 200g High Definition Super Vinyl LP in a unique individually numbered picture sleeve, a technical specifications manual & a numbered & signed by the President of MFSL Certificate of Authenticity.
This rare boxed set was produced in a limited edition, individually hand numbered run of 5000. The UHQR itself stood for 'Ultra High Quality Record' - Basically the 'Rolls Royce' of the MFSL Audiophile range.
Released in October, 1982, this is Mobile Fidelity's highest quality UHQR version of the Beatles' 1967 classic. Produced in limited quantities of 5,000 and pressed by the JVC Company on 200 gram Super Vinyl, this is the audiophile's holy grail - it gets NO BETTER than this. Sealed in it's original plastic, corners sharp, sides of the box are rigid, colors vibrant... MINT all the way.
Limited Edition of only 5,000 pressed. Certificate Of Authenticity is sealed in the box along with the number of the pressing and other goodies.

Review: I just listened to the UHQR MFSL vinyl rip of Sgt. Peppers and have to say it's the best version of Sgt. Peppers I've heard yet. Even though the stereo mix is bizarre to say the least the SDA-1C's presented such a wide tall and 3D soundstage it was a total experience. The clarity of this pressing is second to none including the new remastered version. I could never quite understand why these Beatles stereo mixes always had Ringo's drums and many of the vocals hard panned to the left or right. Wouldn't the drums be in the middle live? Anyway if you ever get you hands on this extremely rare vinyl pressing, the sound quality will blow you away. ~ Audiophile Roundup

Each was a single-record box set limited to 5000 copies and individually numbered. UHQRs were pressed on heavy-weight (200 gram) "virgin" vinyl and pressed on the master stamper, also at JVC in Japan.

Early MFSL titles were pressed by JVC in Japan on virgin 180 gram "SuperVinyl" LP discs. JVC originally developed this proprietary plastic compound in the early 1970s to reduce record wear on discreet 4-channel quadraphonic LP records. Supervinyl is a harder and more durable plastic than is normally used for LP records. The pressings exhibit a very low amount of surface noise, pops, clicks or other defects.
