The Singles Collection
Die Singles in einer Vinyl-BoxApple Corps und Universal Music veröffentlichten ein neues Beatles-Box-Set, das alle 7"-Vinyl-Single-Releases der Musiklegenden in einer Box vereint.
»The Singles Collection« versammelt insgesamt 23 Platten, darunter alle 22 britischen Singles mit ihren jeweiligen B-Seiten bzw. teilweise AA-Seiten.
Zudem gibt es die exklusive Doppel-A-Seite mit »Free As A Bird« und »Real Love«. Die originalen B-Seiten dieser beiden Singles, »Christmas Time (Is Here Again)« und eine Live-Aufnahme von »Baby’s In Black«, wurden nicht berücksichtigt.
Alle Songs wurden für das Re-Release von Sean Magee in den Abbey Road Studios von den ursprünglichen Mono- und Stereo-Masterbändern neu gemastert.
Ein absolute Besonderheit der »The Singles Collection«: Die Singles der Box kommen mit verschiedenen internationalen Cover-Motiven. Die »Love Me Do«-Hülle stammt zum Beispiel aus den USA, »She Loves You« aus Deutschland und »Ticket To Ride« aus Schweden.
Abgerundet wird die Box von einem 40-seitigen Booklet mit allen Illustrationen und Notes von Kevin Howlett.

Featuring 22 singles issued in the UK between 1962 and 1970, plus a double A-side
of the 1990s releases "Free as a Bird" and "Real Love".
Mastered at Abbey Road Studios from mono and stereo tapes of the original single mixes.
The discs are presented in replica first-issue picture sleeves from around the world. A fully illustrated booklet incl. extensive notes.
Box comes in the original package, so that all corners and edges are in perfect condition (see the last two pictures)!
Die Box wird in der original Verpackung geliefert. Damit ist gewährleistet, dass alle Ecken und Kanten ohne Stauchungen oder sonstige Beschädigungen sind (siehe die beiden letzten Fotos)!
