THE BEATLES
Format
Double Vinyl LP
Title
THE WHITE ALBUM (THE BEATLES)
Label/Cat. No.
PMC7067/8 (MONO PRESSING)
Year
1968
Condition
None of the labels contain the "An EMI Recording" text, indicating that this was a very early pressing.
Unfortunately, a previous owner has added the initials "MJS" to all four labels.
Side 1 – Vinyl is VG+, with a few light marks which barely affect playing.
Matrix No – XEX709-1, Stampers 5HL
Side 2 – Vinyl is VG, as with side 1, there are a number of light marks, but these really son't affect playing, and it plays all the way through without skipping or jumping.
Matrix No – XEX710-1, Stampers 3HH
Side 3 – Vinyl is VG; there are a good few light marks, including some which do give a light click, but it still plays through OK.
Matrix No – XEX711-1, Stampers 1RA
Side 4 – Vinyl is the best of the four sides - close to EX, but with a couple of light marks which do not affect playing at all.
Matrix No XEX712-1, Stampers 4OD
Both black inners are present, but not in good condition, being quite badly ripped around the holes.
The four photos are in EX+ condition – no pinholes, tape, creases, writing or marking of any type
The lyric poster is in VG+ condition, again with no pinholes, tape, but unfortunatley another former owner has written his name on it.
The outer sleeve is a lovely clean top-loading sleeve in EX condition. There is no “Mono” or “Stereo” on the reverse, and the front is numbered 0059276
Any other info.
A decent complete copy (apart from divider) of the difficult to find Mono pressing.
