From time to time I help a local hospice sell some of its donated LPs. I clean the records and listen to them all the way through so that I can accurately describe their condition.
My listening equipment is a highly revealing Roksan Xerxes/Artemiz/Shiraz turntable, pre/power amplification and Castle speakers.
Played on my system, this LP grades Very Good+ with minor background noise between tracks and to quiet parts. In addition, side one has some very minor distortion to the high notes of track one (back in the USSR); side two has a few soft ticks to the intro of track one; and side three has a few soft ticks to the last track. The laminated gatefold cover is in very good condition as are the poster and 4 photos. The original black inner sleeves are creased and have have a little damage including a couple of tears and a small hole. Overall this is a very good example of this classic beatles album.
