The original FIRST UK pressing of the recording from the Beatles, who were prolific in the recording studio - AND busy playing live too, in front of absolutely hysterical crowds.
Whether playing live or in the studio with George Martin they were the best band of their time, no contest!
This UK pressing LP is a special album of early BEATLES albums, and was the follow-up to the debut, Please Please Me.
By the time of this lable reissue, MONO was the common medium of all releases.
Also, this was devoured immediately from off the store shelves, and this initial pressing would sell out in a day or two.
It's this lable that was mistakenly put out on the first run of copies, then promptly corrected for all subsequent copies - making it an instant collectable.
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades VG+, playing and sounding clear and clean. There are some sporadic marks, but the surface has nice sheen and the disc plays well with great sound.
Yellow on Black PARLOPHONE Lables are VG, no stains, stickers or pen. KT tax code letters can be clearly seen.
Centre hole wear, and spindle lines.
The LAMINATED *3-FLIPBACK* ERNEST J. DAY COVER is VG, a flat and thick card early print. The rear has a name in pen, and some colouring in on the names.
The lifting tabs edges can be attended to with a little care.
Not necessarily a 'top copy' but a very respectable example!
