The 2ND UK lp release from the Beatles, already becoming prolific in the charts with brilliant singles, and this album was swept clean off the shelves faster than it could be pressed!
They were the No. 1 best band of the times, and the music still appeals to every new generation.
The albums were exceptional.
They were still starting out with recording and they were very busy at this period with gigs, TV appearances, photo sessions, and press sittings.
Here we found them still very much embedded with their rock 'n roll roots.
Some great songs here though, and this is in decent playing shape!
These early MONO issues were by far the best mix, as recorded and produced at Abbey Road Studio.
A lovely copy, corrected lable, and the earliest pressing!
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades EXCELLENT
'1 N' first pressing disc.
This is a nice playing clean copy!
Yellow and black PARLOPHONE Lables are VG+ /EX, there's a little sticker residue on Side 1.
Raised tax code on Side 2 centre.
The FRONT LAMINATED FLIPBACK COVER is VG++ to EXCELLENT, crease to front lower left.
Rarer "Ernest J. Day" cover, and especially with the corrected song title "GOT A HOLD ON ME".
