First mono pressing with error on label of side 1.These first labels were printed without “An E.M.I. Recording” text on the left side of the labels. The absence of this text was a random error.
EMI quickly corrected the error in November 1968 and added “An EMI Recording” text to the left of the labels, above the 33 1/3, all on one line. See photo #4.
With KT tax code. Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 709-1; Side 2: XEX 710-1; Side 3: XEX 711-1; Side 4: XEX 712-1.
PLEASE NOTE. THE VINYL RECORDS THEMSELVES ARE IN VERY POOR CONDITION WITH SOME HEAVY SCRATCHES. There is a close-up photo of the worst side. There are stickers on the B sides of both discs that I have not attempted to remove.The cover is 'good' - complete, but with some creasing, a small hole near the spine and edge wear. Overall not bad. This album still has it's original black inners but they are fairly shabby. The poster has split along all sides and is now in six seperate squares. No band photos.
This is now just a Beatles artefact and is past playing but still interesting to the Beatles collector.
