THE BEATLES “White Album” stereo vinyl Double LP
From 1973 pressed in France when Abbey Road Studios was closed for renovations.
This pressing was cut from the original stereo analogue master tapes that were loaned out at this time.
Both records are EX, look hardly played with just a couple of very light scuff marks from taking the records in and out. Labels and spindle holes look almost new. There is one noticeable scratch one Side 1, clearly shown in the photos. This doesn’t cause any skip when played and is the only defect in the entire set!
Laminated Cover is M-, with very slight corner bumps on all 4 corners and no other defects.
The four color pictures are mint, as is the poster. We did notice a tiny pinhole in the center of the poster from folding and unfolding, but no creases, rips, tears or any other defects.
The matrix numbers are -1 -1 -1 -1, for sure a first pressing Made In France (which is also written on the labels).
This is one of the best ever sounding pressings of The White Album. France sure knew how to cut Beatles pressings at this time like the legendary ‘Abbey Road’ pressings done in France!
Shipped via USPS MEDIA MAIL, wrapped in bubble wrap and mailed in professional cardboard LP mailer.
