Description

The Beatles-Yesterday And Today. Capitol colorband label Cat # ST 2553 (Stereo) LP. Cover condition (see photos to determine) Good+ showing upper-right portion of the slick missing. Some flecking of the front slick/trunk cover paste-over slick. Also shows (woc) faded writing on cover slick near the Capitol logo at upper-left. Ringo's turtleneck, shows through the white cover fairly easily a definite sign that the butcher cover is underneath. Today, collectors recommend not removing the top cover, not only because of the risk of damage, but because fewer and fewer "past-over" jackets know as "second state" covers remain intact. Also the Stereo copy of this rarity is more desirable because fewer were made than the Mono counterpart. An asterisk stamp on the trailoff designates LA pressing The number 5 on back cover corner near the RIAA indicates cover made in IN.  The vinyl is VG and plays VG+ no skips, jumps or repeats with little to no surface noise. Label side 2 had a sticker that I carefully removed  which was over the capitol logo so it does show a little bit of a mar but nothing bad. Has a plain white inner sleeve/dj no original company inner. Thanks for looking!
