THE BEATLES on VINYL "The Beatles Story" 2-LP Capitol release Like New... and very RARE!
Capitol Records had a problem in 1964. Despite the huge output of songs produced by Lennon & McCartney, the public couldn't get enough of the "boys". With their touring and other demands on their time, the Beatles in 1964 were a very hot commodity that couldn't write fast enough for Capitol. Capitol's solution was this album: a gatefold double album of four sides of interviews, anecdotes, excerpts of hit records, and much more. As the screaming headline on the back cover exclaims "It's Like Spending A Very Special Evening In The Company Of The Beatles Themselves!".
This album HAS NOT been re-released on CD or any other form that I'm aware of. These LPs from Capitol are rare, a must-have for the complete Beatles album collector.
All my vinyl records are from my personal collection, purchased by me – one owner. You should know that I treated each of these recordings very carefully. I ALWAYS handled them on the edges or the center label. I cleaned each record carefully with Discwasher before play. These records have been babied. My habit was to record these records to reel-to-reel or cassette and put the albums themselves away. All records sold here have been personally inspected by me and I’ve tried to describe them honestly – as if I was the buyer. Point is, I really took good care of these records: they have been stored upright in a custom-built record cabinet in a smoke-free home since purchase. I have not played any of them in at least a decade. They are as is.
