THE BEATLES revolver PARLOPHONE LP ‘Mono’ ‘Dr. Robert’ -2/-2 PMC 7009!
Original UK LP, with ‘Laminated’ front, flip back sleeve with spine pinched corners and paper inner sleeve’.
Released in 1966, on the PARLOPHONE label.
Catalogue number: PMC 7009 (Mono).
Dr. Robert Credit on Label and back cover.
Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patents pending sleeve.
Matrix Numbers read:
A-side: XEX 605-2.
B-side: XEX 606-2.
Sleeve/Record: EXCELLENT/VERY GOOD CONDITION (*Plays mostly FINE/EXCELLENT odd tracks VERY GOOD)
Superb clean presentable sleeve, displays a few small laminate lifts, mainly confined to the sleeve’s edges and a small minor corner bump.
Sleeve displays no rips/tears, no edge wear, no seem splits, no writing and no deep lined sleeve creases.
Sleeve grades EXCELLENT.
Inner paper sleeve, displays light handling/storage wear, with no major defects, grades Very GOOD+.
Both labels are clean with some spindle marks evident and a minor touch of wear on the B-side.
Raised KT stampers on B-side label.
Playing surfaces retain the full original glossy sheen.
Has a few small surface scuffs/marks, which are very lightly scattered and by no means excessive.
There are a couple you can feel slightly on the A-side, on tracks 5 and 6 (**).
Graded visually as in VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ condition.
*Record plays mostly FINE/EXCELLENT on both sides emits mainly a clean sound.
** But does have the occasional low level passing clicks and some evident on the A-side tracks 5 and 6 mentioned.
