Description
Welcome to my LP auctions, all from my personal collection. I have been trading on E Bay since 2005. I aim to provide an honest, reliable service. All LPs are not new but vary from near mint, downwards. Any exceptional features or flaws will be pointed out. All records will be securely packaged in top quality record mailers. This is a very nice and above average STEREO 1966 UK pressing of REVOLVER.
Matrix side 1: YEX 605-1. (2 GG)
Matrix side 2: YEX 606-1. (3 A)
‘KT’ embossed on side 1 label.
The VINYL plays very well for its age with a few minor crackles between tracks and I noticed 4 louder clicks towards the end of ‘And Your Bird Can Sing’ on side 2. Side 1 was pretty much click free. There are some minor superficial marks and scratches on the vinyl but nothing distracting sound wise except for the end of ‘And Your Bird Can Sing’ as I noted. The LABELS are very clean BUT somebody has written their name on side 2’s label very faintly in dark ink that can only be seen when tilted towards the light.
The inner sleeve is a plain white ‘Made in Great Britain’ in the bottom right hand corner and Patent No. 1,125,555 in the bottom left hand corner. It’s in excellent clean, unripped condition.
The Garrod & Lofthouse flipback cover has a small ‘stereo’ in the top right corner on the front. There is some evidence of handling wear and some minor creasing and discolouration on the laminated front. You can also see some ringwear visible on the back but overall, it has survived almost 60 years very well.
