THIS NEAR PERFECT MONO ALBUM, THAT I  BELIEVE TO BE A  FIRST PRESSING, HAS BEEN IN MY PERSONAL COLLECTION SINCE I PURCHASED IT IN 1967.

This Album needs no introduction and I believe this is an opportunity to to purchase RARE copy of this highly sought after album .

This copy of a milestone album is a MONO version with the Parlophone Yellow and Black labels . The sleeve has a wide spine and I believe it to be an early first pressing.  The labels have the "The Gramophone Co Ltd" and "sold in the UK " text and KT either side the spindle hole.  I believe the Matrix numbers are very early.

Album Condition Disc Side 1 Excellent condition some surface scratching largely from inserting and withdrawing the disc from the paper sleeve but they don't affect the playability , one visible scratch on the last track but again does not impact the playability of the track.    Side 2 Excellent condition , some surface scratching largely from inserting and withdrawing the disc from the paper sleeve but these don't affect  the playability.    Label The Side 1 label is in excellent condition , Side 2 label is in excellent condition, spindle markings are very , very ligt on both sides of the disc Inner sleeve    The original inner sleeve is in good  condition, the opening edge is creased and has a 1cm vertical tear from the top edge. Clean with slight discolouring along edges due to age and use. The shape of the disc has produced a ring impression on both sides of the sleeve the sharp edge of the disc has cleanly slit open the bottom edge of the sleeve  ( 5 inch/13cm), I have not attempted to repair it . Outer Sleeve   The Garrod and Lofthouse flip back Gatefold sleeve is in Near Perfect condition , the front face is clean and  bright no tears or creases, one or two small laminate creases, Centre fold in Nr Perfect condition , some light laminate creasing down the wide fold and light soiling along the top edge. the rear face is clean and bright , no tears or creasing again one or two light laminate creases. The Album spine is Near Perfect and the edges are in excellent condition , all four corners have very light scuffing right on the tips, the opening edge has very light feathering. Insert    The Sgt. Pepper cut-out is in Mint condition, clean and bright, no tears or creases.
