TITLE/INFO: If you have interest in great conditioned "oldies" music, please continue to check in on my site as I have many more items to sell yet - LPs, 45's, CDs, and more - thank you in advance. This rare and collectible 2nd released album by The Beatles is on the original Capitol label - in mono - and entitled simply, "The Beatles Second Album". It features 11 great songs from their very earliest years and even comes with an original Capitol Records inner sleeve that features neat pictures of other early '60's Capitol recording artists and their album releases. The LP was released back in 1964 - in mono - and all the song titles, the jacket, the Capitol Records inner sleeve, and both labels are shown in the pictures above, so please check them all out. The record and jacket are mostly in very good condition, albeit not perfect, so please read on and again check out all of the pictures above. FYI, I will be listing other LPs, 45's, and more in the future, so if you are a fan of the old days of music when vinyl was king, please bookmark my sight - thank you. LABEL INFO: These original "rainbow bordered", Capitol Records labels (T-2080) - in mono - are in very good condition with no serious issues in need of mentioning at all. I don't even see that many spindle lines around the center circles which indicates to me that they may have had fairly light play. VINYL INFO: The record itself is also shiny, clean, and nice - and again, I don't see any really serious flaws, although when held under a very bright light one can see several light "surface/paper lines" on either side. These lines have no effect on the LP's play and really do little to effect it's appearance that much either. Otherwise, in my opinion, it looks and plays just fine. JACKET: Finally, the main parts of this jacket (both front and back sides) are very good and show minimum amounts of aging, wear and tear, but there are several rather obvious scuff marks along the vertical seam only - and in it's two corner areas. I've tried to show this in one of the pictures above - note that the other seams are just fine. But again, please view all of the pictures above and make your own decisions on things. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this rare and hard to find early Beatles LP would make a nice addition to anyone who doesn't yet own a copy or who already has one, but in less than ideal condition. This would likely be an upgrade as, in my opinion, it is in much better than average overall shape and I have begun the auction at a ridiculously low opening bid with no reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck! FYI, if anyone wants to bid on multiple items to save on postage costs, I am more than happy to "save" your winning pieces here at the house until you are ready for shipping - just tell me ahead of time, wait for my invoice (not EBay's), and pay for each item as you win them. In addition to this record, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and even some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 100's more to list yet -- of all varieties and genres. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are original pressings and in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are $26.00 for this LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that.
