A Custom Reproduction of one of the Rarest BEATLES 45s: The Beattles double TT 45 released in February 1963 on VJ Records !!!
Offered is a custom reproduction of the Beatles First 45 issued by Vee Jay Records in America that was originally issued in February 1963 as catalog# VJ498 !!! This custom reproduction was made from a UK 1983 re-issue of the 45. It's extremely well done and even plays both songs correctly. There are some deadwax etchings that are correct( 63-2967, RA, URJ on Side 1) (63-2968, RA, URJ on Side 2) but you can also see several of the reissue 45 deadwax etchings on each side have been scratched out; on the 1983 reissue of the single the deadwax etchings would have been 7XCE-17217 C11 on one side and 7XCE-17218 11 on the other side. These numbers appear to be the ones that are scratched out, thus this is what the counterfeiters used as a base to create this reproduction. That's our best guess. This is the best (or only) reproduction copy of this 45 we’ve ever seen! It's an excellent custom copy of a very rare 45. The vinyl grades VG+ on both sides, both labels are Excellent. This is a great way of filling in that void in your collection until you can find a Real Beatles VJ498... in this condition it would sell for at least $1500 USD. Good Luck!
