"The Birth of Ska", Treasure Isle FDRL 200, featuring Tommy McCook and The Skatalites, Baba Brooks etc - an absolute classic ! If you're like me, this is one of those lp's you buy a re-issue of , never imagining you'd see the real thing - I've never seen one up 'till now in 25 years of collecting.
Needless to say this is a ridiculously rare LP, and a joy to be able to offer up for auction. Hard card unlaminated sleeve, super clean condition, with just a tiny bit of wear to the bottom right corner. Deep groove red Treasure Isle label, with no spindle marks. Vinyl looks and sounds fantastic, there are just a couple of scuffs, without holding it to the light you would think it's mint, and nothing audible.
Take note - this LP hasn't been skimmed,boiled,"sent to the cleaners"or otherwise tampered with. It's super clean 'cos it's had little or no play!
