1969 UK 3rd PRESS *MONO* LP
**WITHOUT 'SOLD IN UK..' TEXT**
This final incarnation of this iconic label was available for just a few months in late 1969 before the switch to the black and silver 'One EMI Box' design.
These late variants omit the 'Sold in U.K...' label text which was removed from all EMI product from August 1969.
This rare 1969 third mono pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1230
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but still carry 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims
There is no tax/price code visible on either label.
Housed in a front laminated, flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' cover displaying the 'small' mono logo.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner.
Matrix numbers: XEX 481-3N & XEX 482-3N
Stamper numbers: 2,9/MDT & 3,8/ALR

Super bright and glossy surfaces bearing just a few light surface scuffs and some sleeve removal hairlines, but no scratches or deep marks.
100% flat on the turntable without dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT MINUS
Great sound from this late mono pressing with silent run-ins and bands with just a trace of intermittant wear audible during some tracks
However, there is no hiss, crackle, clicks, jumps or repeats.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A clean front panel bearing just a few light creases and light corner bruising but no major faults.
The rear panel is very clean and white with no marks or writing.
All flipbacks and seams are intact, clean and undamaged and the spine is square, clear and readable.
