The Beatles - 'A Hard Day's Night' LP. PMC 1230
The Beatles 1969 UK MONO pressing of the 'A Hard Day's Night' LP. Originally released on the 10th July 1964, this is the final issue on the iconic yellow and black Parlophone label. It is offered here FULLY COMPLETE. By 1969 virtually all vinyl was issued in stereo.
Released on the yellow and black Parlophone label NO 'Sold in UK....' text is present and NO ‘Recording First Published 1964’ text is present. Both sides have 'The Gramophone Co Ltd....' rim print. NO tax code is embossed on any side. The vinyl is housed within the 1969 original white ‘Patent, Made in England’ inner sleeve and the correct 1969 MONO issue outer sleeve produced by Garrod and Lofthouse. This features the rare SMALL MONO logo in the top right hand corner. A very rare 1969 MONO issue, that would grace a high end Beatles collection.
The Matrix numbers are:
Side 1. XEX 481-3N 2? MDT
Side 2. XEX 482-3N 8 ALR
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD+ condition.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT- condition.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition.
The inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD/GOOD condition. Drawing on one side. I will include an additional sleeve to protect the original.
