THE CELEBRATED RATLIFFE STOUT BAND
SONGS AND TALES FROM GREENWOOD EDGE
A sought-after and collectable 1975 private press vinyl LP, recorded at Beck Recording Studio, Wellingborough. Labels are plain black, with "1" and "2" written in pencil to indicate the relevant side.
CONDITION OF VINYL:
VG+. Shiny black vinyl with some hairline marks. A couple of parallel slightly wider marks of about 1 inch long coming in from the outer edge of side 2 produce no more than a few faint clicks. Overall it plays very nicely with just the occasional bit of surface noise, plus one audible pop on side 1, and two just before the end of the last track on side 2.
CONDITION OF SLEEVE:
Please see the close-up photos. The outer sleeve has the age-related discolouration common to unlaminated white sleeves, plus some ringwear, minor creasing and staining (possibly water) in the bottom-left corner and a little at the top edge. There are no tears or pen marks. Overall I would grade this as VG.
