From the early 1960's we have "The Chicken Fat Song".  You may have heard it on recent TV commercials ("go you chicken fat go...").  This is the original sung by the Music Man Robert Preston and composed by Music Man creator Meredith Wilson.

Created to compliment President Kennedy's Council on Physical Fitness in the early 1960's this was dreamed up by Meridith Wilson, sung by Robert Preston, pressed by Columbia Records (who also provided the orchestra) and distributed by the US Jaycees.  Imagine that kind of cooperation!

This features a 2 minute 12 second DJ/Radio version on one side and an aerobic 6 minute 30 school version on the other.  It includes a 2 sided liner with the story of the record on one side and diagrams of each of the exercises on the other.

A great collector's item and a fun song to get idle youth up and burning that chicken fat.  It's really a catchy tune.
