THE "CHIRPING" CRICKETS with textured cover
1957 release from Brunswick BL-54038
The "Chirping" Crickets is the self-titled debut album from the American rock and roll band The "Chirping" Crickets, led by Buddy Holly.
In 2003, the album was ranked number 421 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
The LP was released in the US in 1957, and in the UK in 1958, and was out of print for many years.
The record has lots of faint scratches. Both "Oh Boy" and "That'll Be The Day" have slight skips (jumps to next track). The rest of the songs only have sight surface noise. = GOOD
The textured cover is in two pieces. The front cover has a missing a section of ink. The back cover is missing large chunks of ink/finish and is stained. = POOR
Original sleeve is missing - replaced with new one.
I am not professional grader. Please examine pictures carefully. Any defects not shown in the photos will be described in the above description.
All LPs come boxed carefully in corrugated boxes made specifically for LPs. The LP is removed from cover ( except for SEALED LPs) for shipping to prevent seam splitting and sandwiched between 2 pieces of cardboard.
