Description
THE CLASH Singles (Rare 1979 Japanese-only 8 x 7" vinyl singles box set. Including copies of White Riot, Remote Control, Complete Control, Clash City Rockers, White Man, Tommy Gun, English Civil War and London Calling, all in their original colour picture sleeves. Housed in a picture box which also contains a colour advetisment listing the singles and the orginal release dates on one side and on the reverse list the first four albums (Pearl Harbour included) in Japanese text along with Sony/Epic catalogue numbers and prices. Also include two sheets (about 19" long) of paper with the lyrics of both the A/B sides in English and Japanese. The lid of the box has a some light creasing around the corners so I would class as VG+ (especially for it age as now 31 years old) the sleeves are also in VG+ (no tears/rips or splits) unfortunately the obi strip is missing all the vinyl is in excellent condition apart from London's Burning which does have a mark on the vinyl which does affect the first 45 seconds of playing. A great copy of this now scarce box set. Catalogue number for the box set is 44-5P-103-110 and each single does have there own numbers starting at 44.5P-103 to 44.5P-110 and all come on same labels as UK versions apart from being on Epic records rather than CBS.
