Regarding records for this upcoming Sunday auction:- almost ALL are from an INCREDIBLE collection that was played ONCE to tape and NEVER played again!  There were a VERY few LPs from this collection which the owner did play slightly more, but at least 90% of them were only ever played once or twice to tape - with most of the collection being in ASTOUNDING condition!!!!  And again, the nearly ALL covers were kept in plastic sleeves from the day they were bought.  So essentially 90% of them look exactly like they did when purchased 30 or 40 years ago!  This is just one LP from that collection:-
AND PLEASE NOTE - no this is NOT the same 1st Pressing as last week (the sticker is in a different place for a start).  The 1 previous owner had TWO copies of this Double LP, and this is the second and LAST 1st Pressing from that collection.....

On offer here is a VERY rare Double LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Clash called "London Calling" and is an ORIGINAL 1979 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press CBS 'white labels'!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE CLASH'S RAREST LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1979 WHEN THIS DOUBLE LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS (LIKE THIS!), AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS DOUBLE LP REALLY SPECIAL, IS THAT IT IS ONE OF THE ALL TIME RAREST 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE!!!!  OF COURSE, IT HAS THE TWO EXTREMELY RARE INNER SLEEVES (WHICH CAME STRAIGHT AFTER THE INSERTS), AND THE 'HIDDEN TRACK' TRAIN IN VAIN (WHICH IS NOT MENTIONED ANYWHERE ON THE DOUBLE LP!) - WHICH WAS INCLUDED & MENTIONED ON ALL 2ND PRESSINGS!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS DOUBLE LP ESPECIALLY RARE - IS THAT IT HAS THE "CBS CLASH 3" (MADE FOR THIS DOUBLE LP ONLY!) GREEN COVER STICKER, WHICH MOST COPIES NEVER HAD IN THE FIRST PLACE, AND EVEN IF THEY DID - MOST PEOPLE REMOVED THE STICKER!!!!  90% OF 1ST PRESSINGS NEVER HAD THIS ULTRA RARE 'COVER STICKER' - MAKING THIS ONE OF THE ALL TIME RAREST 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS DOUBLE LP EVER MADE!!!!   

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THESE RECORDS HAVE BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in absolutely STUNNING condition!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s Double LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and BOTH records have NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, only 2 or 3 absolutely ULTRA light surface traces, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORDS STILL RETAIN THEIR ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOK STUNNING!!!!  It is also great to find that the records play as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The records must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!!  WHAT AN ABSOLUTELY STUNNING SET OF RECORDS!!!!  Believe me these records are NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The records also come in their ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Lyric' inner sleeves which are in STUNNING condition and completely UNSPLIT!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Stickered' Cover is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition for once!!!!  It has NO sticker marks, NO sticker tears, NO edge wear (STUNNING unworn straight edges!), NO spinal wear (STUNNING vertical unworn spine with PERFECT side words and only 1 TINY 'touched in' trace!), only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO splits, only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), NO ringwear, NO rubbing AT ALL, only some very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the corner tips, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the back of the cover is in STUNNING condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO ringwear, NO rubbing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must MEGA STRICTLY grade Very Good++++ if not better - and is very VERY close to a grade above!!!!   BRILLIANT COVER!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
