Description

The Clash's self-titled debut LP, released on CBS Records in 1977. The first 10,000 copies came with a red sticker on the inlay that could be removed and exchanged for a free single in a promotional deal with the NME, meaning that very few copies survive with an intact sticker.

This version contains the sticker and is released on sunburst CBS labels in a matte picture sleeve with some parts of the rear sleeve in fluorescent colours. This release is variant 6, with the side 1 matrix runout CBS S 82000 A-2 and side 2 matrix runout CBS S 82000 B-2.

Grading conservatively, the sleeve is in good to very good condition with some age wear to the corners. Vinyl is good overall but does have one scratch affecting playback through track four of side 1 as well as damage causing a couple of jumps on track seven of side 1. Very rare item but priced accordingly.

NB This is a relisting - this item was originally auctioned last month but the buyer returned it during the 14-day returns window.
