THE CLIMAX CHICAGO BLUES BAND LP - 1969 UK Psych Blues Rock Masterpiece?
This is the extremely rare original 1969 UK first pressing on PARLAPHONE. Not the later second pressing on the all black Parlaphone label

There is zero groove wear. Beautiful deep sheen! Vinyl Side A EX A few light inner/paper sleeves scuffs only. Not audible at all! Plays NM or even better. Side B is and looks much better than VG+ but I'll use this grade to be conservative. Only A few crackles at the very edge/beginning of Side B which go away immediately. A few sporadic crackles on song 2 (very few) 3 lights crackles at the beginning of track 4 and lastly, one and only one tiny surface (NOT a feeler) scratch, at the very beginning of track 3. It literally starts at the very first rotation & only audible for 7 or 8 rotations. I videotaped detailed sound samples of all these in their entirety so you can hear just how minor they really are. Otherwise, all other parts of side B play closer to NM or better. These are really light in their audibility... it comes no where even close to loud pops, anywhere, at all. Cover is VG- Very light discoloration from an old price sticker (no sticky residue) stains and one small section of chipping on the spine. All can be seen in photos. Not bad! I always see people grading covers like this VG but I'm grading at VG- although It's still holds up very well w no crushed corners.
Honest, accurate, thorough grading is very important to me. Please see extensive video me playing both sides below. It's of me going through the very quietest sections and dead space of both sides in real time so you can hear how clean the vinyl really is. The sound sample of side A is shorter because there are no audios issues to present. There are only 4 to 5 squiggly spindle marks on each side which looks to be how many times this lp was played. I only played it once when I bought it about 20 years ago and once more in real time while taking the video for you. I do not think you will be disappointed. This is a real blues psych masterpiece.
Best offers will be considered. It will be packed with care with a vinyl removed from cover and shipped in a poly sleeve which I've had it in since I bought it almost 20 years ago. Stored properly and very well cared for. I only played it one time when I bought it and another time as I was grading it for your pleasure.
