Description
Vintage lp: THE COMPLACENT AMERICANS - by Larry Blake, with Robert Connelly and Jack F. Fuller; red-vinyl mono pressing on Cee Dee Records, released in 1961. Scary Cold War LP, a dramatization of the Civil Defense , with Connelly as "the American who failed both himself and his country", and Survival Instructions by Jack F. Fuller of the Office of Civil Defense, Los Angeles, CA. Cover blurb states: "Warning - Because of the 38 sensational and emotional sound effects, including the authentic sounds of an H-bomb devastating a mythical city, side one should not be played by anyone who cannot undergo an extreme emotional experience".
Condition: NM/VG (gorgeous disc with several very soft, short surface marks; jacket has attractive cover with very small ink mark, the spine has split all the way and the top seam has split most of the way with one inch at the center remaining attached; minor edge and corner rubbing).
