Ladies and Gentlemen...How Do ! Here we go another punk classic from The Damned , this was their third LP and the first without Brian James steering the ship....How would they fare ? pretty fucking awesomely actually ...slightly poppier ....a bit proggier in places and it was great to see Captain Sensible take off his Bass and pick up the guitar and drive the band in this more diverse direction whilst retaining the Punk Rock drive that we loved on Damned Damned Damned and to a lesser degree on Music For Pleasure . This line up also added Algy Ward on bass who had played with The Saints and went on to form Tank ....Great album , still sounding as great to a 47 year old as it did to my 13 year old self ( this is my spare copy ) . The record is as stated a first pressing on the original Chiswick label with A1 / B1 matrix / run out stamped numbers the original black and white card inner sleeve and is manufactured and distributed by EMI . The vinyl is VG++ clean with only minor fine surface marks ( plays ex ) , Sleeve is pretty strong all round , slightly worn at edges and corners and a wee bit grubby / sticker residue around the last D of the logo / inner is great just starting to split bottom edge but I will include a new paper inner to stop further damage.
