This record is in very good+ condition. It has numerous faint spindle marks/rubs visible on the labels but no scuffs or fading anywhere. There is only very light wear around the centre holes and they are not loose. Overall the textured labels(that have the O/T tax code on side 1) show clear signs of use with lots of light spindle marks but also have no major issues and re clean, bright and all legible.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides have a nice lustre and show no major scratches or marks. There is some light wispy lines, minor sleeve marks and general light signs of use to each side however. There is also 'mottling' or wear in track 3 on side 2. This is not present on another track and strangely only occurs in this track. Overall the vinyl is a solid grade of VG on both sides with some signs of use and age but no major marks or serious issues.
I play tested the record and it played really well overall and was a pleasure to listen to. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is little to no arm movement. The audio has no skips, sticks or tics and is generally really clear with next to no surface noise, crackling or other issues. On the whole the audio was far closer to EX+ than the visual VG+, and upon playing I could not understand how it sounds so clear. I put it down to high quality old school vinyl. There is however one issue and that is that track 3 on side 2 plays with some light distortion or very slight hissing throughout. This is not severe but can be noticed in places.
So overall a used vintage record graded at VG+ but one that plays really well for the majority with excellent clarity and just the light distortion in track 3 on side 2 as mentioned.
The sleeve is in very good- condition. It has damage to the bottom left corner/edge with a section of the flipback missing. This is clearly noticeable when viewed on the rear. Other than this area of damage there is also light grubbiness on the rear, a tiny pen mark in the top left corner area and a small 1cm squared section of tape around 2" up from the centre of the bottom edge. There is no major creasing to the laminated front and only very slight ring marks evident. Overall a solid enough sleeve with a fully legible spine but one that has age related wear and the damage to the bottom edge as mentioned. I have tried my best to explain the sleeves condition but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible on its condition.
It contains a brand new plain white replacement inner as the original was missing.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
