The Dawn (Pinoy/OPM Rock Band) - The Dawn 2020 Philippines Factory Sealed (Photo #9) Vinyl/LP containing 8 total tracks featuring the local radio hits, ‘Dreams’, ‘Give Me The Night’ and ‘Enveloped Ideas’ (a copy of a demo of the song which the band submitted to DWXB 102.7, a now-defunct Metro Manila-based FM radio station that played alternative rock and new wave music, topped the radio station's charts in 1986, helped the group gain a cult following and heavily influenced by the new wave genre of the 1980s, "Enveloped Ideas" is distinct for its introductory operatic vocals a la Klaus Nomi.). In 1986, The Dawn signed with OctoArts International (now PolyEast Records Philippines) then in the next summer, released this self-titled debut album and gained commercial success. Many critics felt that The Dawn would fill the void left behind by the Juan de la Cruz Band when their music slowly faded in the 1980s. Catalog number: PV200024 (Photo #8). Condition is "New". The Dawn just recently concluded their US Tour with stops in San Diego, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas and Houston with the original drummer : JB Leonor and lead vocalist: Jett Pangan plus Francis Reyes (ex-Afterimage band and joined in 1990) on guitar, Rommel ‘Sancho’ Sanchez (joined in 2009) on guitar and Bim Yance (ex-True Faith band) on bass guitar.
