1974 UK 3rd press rock gem - brilliant copy with the superb audio quality being a true highlight
Year/Label : 1974 UK ELEKTRA (Butterfly label) Label number : STEREO K 42090 Matrix numbers : K 42090 A1, K 42090 B1 Stampers : B 0 / 3 0Little played near mint (NM) condition vinyl - virtually unmarked and it is only with close inspection under a bright light that a couple of extremely faint paper scuff lines come into view on each side of the vinyl - each strictly surface only, purely superficial, and having no impact upon the brilliant sound quality at all. Pristine labels with not even the usual one or two very faint spindle trails. Clearly this is a record that has been played just a handful of times. The condition of the original UK non-laminated Shorewood outer sleeve is excellent (EX) - firm edges with just a few very light intermittent scuff marks on the bottom edge. Firm spine and perfectly defined early pressing rounded corners, no edge fraying, no seam splits, no creasing, and no discolouration. The audio quality is near mint (NM) with no skips, jumps, repeats, sticks, clicks, interference, distortion or background crackle - very, very impressive, with great tone, and crystal clear instrumentation and vocals - perfect! Comes with original and excellent plus (EX+) condition yellow and black inner sleeve with no seam splits, no opening edge fraying, barely any creasing, no age discolouration, just a couple of small and very minor handling marks on the reverse side, and remaining fully functional.
Hard to believe that this record is now 49 years of age, with every track remaining a terrific listen.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
