Description
THE DOORS L.A. Woman (DCC/Elektra LPZ-2050) Audiophile MINT!
Extremely RARE US audiophile, limited edition (1705/5000) re-issue of The Doors` last and perhaps second-best (after the debut...) album, on DCC Compact Classics (1992). Analogue remastering by Steve Hoffman on 180 gram virgin vinyl.
Released in 1992, this issue of "L.A. Woman" is an exact replica of the original. My only gripe with the re-issue is a small bar-code on the back cover. This specific copy is number 1705 of a series of 5000. It features the original light gloss cover with the embossed "DOORS" logo. Original die-cut cover with band photo printed on transparent plastic foil. Also comes, of course, with the "scandalous" insert, depicting the crucified female nude.
Grading:
MINT COVER, absolutely perfect. I opened the item when I bought it (in 1992), played it once. It has been carefully stored ever since! The gold "DCC" sticker is NOT attached to the cover! I removed it VERY carefully from the original, thin plastic wrap and include it "for perfection`s sake"!
MINT(-) RECORD in its original condition. Played exactly once...perfect!
PLEASE NOTE: SHIPPING WILL BE $9 TO EUROPE / $13 TO USA AND REST OF THE WORLD.
eBay`s maximum mailing cost for the US is predetermined at $4. Obviously, the new pricing system does not foresee foreign sellers listing in the US. However, we cannot possibly ship a record to the US from Europe for this price. Please bid only if you agree with the mailing costs as outlined above.
PLEASE DO NOT PAY FOR THE ITEM BEFORE RECEIVING A PERSONALIZED PAYPAL INVOICE!
