VERY NICE RARE COPY!
VINYL IS STEREO, COVER IS MONO (WAS ORIGINALLY STICKERED ON BACK...LONG DEPARTED - SEE PICS)
Some early UK copies were sold with US matt covers as well as stickered mono covers, such as this.
This cover is the fully laminated UK.
Matrix numbers prove this is one of the earliest UK pressings A 1A COL/B 1A.
Labels are orange with black lettering & large E (Elektra), plus Polydor credit at bottom with a rough surface. Original stereo.
- Vinyl VG+, some light marks, all hairlines visible under bright light. Nothing feelable or readily visible. Plays very well, slight light background noise on run in. Track 3, side 2, a little audible pop/crackle though in no way remotely overpowering. No sticking, no major popping, no skips or jumps. Slight, insignificant warp, barely noticeable if not pointed out.
- Sounds great.
- Labels EX with some very light spindle traces.
- Inner VG+, no splits.
- Cover VG due to label removal on back & tape scar along base (tape removed years & years ago!). Laminate is fine, a few creases, please, check pics.
- Spine is easily EX, square & VERY clear.
Ebay grading.
Overall, a fine copy of a rare album. Over 50 years old!
