Description

THE FAIRIES - " GET YOURSELF HOME / I'LL DANCE ", HMV (POP 1404) 1965.

Super rare original 1965 UK freakbeat/garage/early psyche single.

CONDITION:

VINYL  =  V.G.+ (Both sides have their share of light surface marks. Labels pretty clean with just the lightest of spindle trails. On playback, there is a bit of surface noise during the silent run-in but once the music kicks in it generally plays strongly and pretty clean. There was the occasional faint background click or crackle, but nothing serious and nothing that ruined the listening experience IMHO. Doesn't suffer any distortion, harshness, groove damage or other damage relating to extreme overplaying or previous playback on a terrible record player. Overall, whilst not a museum piece, it will sell for a much more reasonable price and it's still a good honest playing copy of a great 45 - the sort of copy I'd glady take over a mega-clean and mega-priced example, perfect for home listening, DJing, etc)

SLEEVE  =  N/A (plain white paper sleeve as original company sleeve was not present - see photo)

Note: for the purposes of this listing I have tested this LP on my Linn LP12 Sondek turntable - generally this is quite a critical test, but I must point out that I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable - common sense for most... but then this is ebay!)

NOTE: I must point out that we are actually a long standing physical record shop, with many decades worth of selling, trading and grading records under our collective belts. Unlike so many of the jokers now selling records on ebay, we know how to grade records. Before bidding, please read my description carefully, decide how much this record is worth to you and place you max bid accordingly. Please also feel free to check out my feedback from the many other successful transactions I have made in the past.

ANY QUESTIONS? PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO GET IN TOUCH!

HAPPY BIDDING!!!!!
