Description
You're bidding on a copy of a four-way split 7-inch between the Forecast, Into It. Over It., the Swellers and Bomb The Music Industry!, released as a wedding favor to guests of the wedding of Scott Heisel and Aubrey Welbers. This record is limited to 220 copies and has never been made available to the public before now. It is on green vinyl. It has never been played before, and is conservatively in NM condition.
This record is being auctioned off by Scott and Aubrey to help raise money to pay the medical bills for our dog, Mia (pictured above with Evan from Into It. Over It.). Mia is a three-and-a-half-year-old German Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix who we rescued from a kill shelter in 2010. We truly love her more than life itself. She is even featured on the back cover artwork to our wedding 7-inch. Recently, she had to be hospitalized for close to three weeks with a mystery illness that was eventually identified (after dozens of tests and exploratory surgery) as irritable bowel disease, or IBD. It's not curable, but it is treatable. She was lucky to receive amazing care from her vet, but in the process racked up a significant amount in medical bills (veterinary medicine ain't cheap!). We are auctioning this record off with the knowledge and blessing of each of the four bands on the 7-inch, as they have all been frequent guests at our house and have spent many hours playing with Mia.
On the remote chance we are able to raise more money than is necessary to pay Mia's vet bills from this auction, we will donate the remainder to the ASPCA.
