THE GRATEFUL DEAD Aoxomoxoa UK Warner Bros ORANGE LABEL 1st Psych Rock Garage
The Grateful Dead, Aoxomoxoa.
1969 UK pressed Warner Bros stereo LP, WS 1790.
Earliest orange label pressing, A2/B1 matrix suffixes.
Vinyl visually a solid VG. Surfaces are still glossy, although displaying a few light scuffs and gentle hairline scratches. No really deep digs or gouges. A fair amount of spider trail activity visible at centre spindle areas but not to the point of whitening or scuffing.
Play grades VG. Some background crackle and occasional soft ticks but no loud consecutive ticks. Background noise does not overwhelm the music at any point and there are no grimace inducing background noises.
Labels are clean and undefaced.
Single front laminated sleeve with visible backflaps in very solid VG condition. Front panel still has bright and saturated colour. Some linear imperfections to the laminate, mainly as small pinch line creases leading in from edge areas and a diagonal line at top left corner. Rear panel still acceptable clean with just a hint of age and handling toning. A couple of smecks of marks. Sticker to top right corner of rear panel.
Edges and entry side all very well preserved and free of wear, spine still looks good. Tips have just fractional wear and are still square and not rounded.
