Chad Allan & The Expressions in 1966

Real Name:

Chad Allan & The Expressions

Profile:

Allan Kobel (Chad Allan) is a third year science student at United College. He writes material for the group, plays rhythm guitar, and sings.

Randy Bachman, the lead guitarist, also writes and sings. He is 21 and in his final year of an accelerated course in business administration at MIT.

Jim Kale plays bass guitar and sings. He is married and works for a lumber firm in St. Vital.

Gary Peterson handles the drums and plays saxophone. He is in second year science at the University of Manitoba.

Bob Ashley is the pianist and organist for the group.

The 45 rpm single record is graded GOOD PLUS, it has significant scratches both sides of the record and it has some wear.
It has been well-played, but funnily enough, it is deep grooved and very thick and the wear does not affect the play whatsoever apart from a few pops and crackles here and there.
I played both sides and you can hear why this Canadian Garage Band was so popular. Their music is excellent.
The labels on each side are slightly dirty. There is no record Jacket apart from the generic one it was purchased in, in 1966.
Please see the photographs to see the condition of the record and labels. The labels are slightly dirty just from time and handling and the spindle hole has some wear.
Please note that my photographs form part of the description.
This band was a Grunge/Garage Rock Band from Canada in the 1960's. They often played games with the bands name, calling themselves "The Guess Who", rather than "Chad Allen & The Expressions".
This often confused people. This is one of the reasons why they became famous. "Shakin All Over" was a smash, number one hit for them.
This Australian version of the Canadian single is extremely rare, and to my knowledge, this is the first one that has ever turned up and been listed on Ebay.
This record, in the 1966 United States release by Sceptre Records, in Very Good plus condition, sold for $102 on Ebay in 2015.
Please check my Ebay Shop or my other Auction listings for extremely RARE and sought after vinyl records in all Genre's. I am searching, collecting and buying all the time so I can supply you, the Audiophile and Collector, with some of the rarest and most collectible vinyl records the world.
I will send this record to any place on the planet.
